First Conversation

A quiet 20-minute call — no forms, no pressure. We listen to the name, the dates, and what kind of person they were. You decide nothing on this call.

1–2 days after contact

We confirm the spelling of every name and date in writing before any tool touches stone.

Design & Approval

We hand-sketch the layout — letter spacing, depth of cut, border details. You receive a digital proof within 5 business days and approve every element before work begins.

5–7 business days

Two rounds of revisions are included. Most families approve on the first proof.

Carving

Diamond-tipped tools cut at controlled depth into the slab. Each letter is checked by hand. Granite is unforgiving — we move slowly and deliberately.

3–5 business days

Flat markers for funeral directors can be expedited to 48 hours when needed.

Finishing & Inspection

The stone is wet-polished, cleaned, and inspected under direct light. Every carved letter is filled and the surface sealed against weather.

2 business days

We photograph the finished piece and send you images before it leaves our studio.

Installation

Our crew sets the monument at the cemetery or memorial site. We coordinate with cemetery management and confirm placement is exactly as approved.

1 day, scheduled with cemetery

You receive a final photograph of the installed monument in place.
